How menus work

Can I edit my menu or change prices?

Bamboo manages all menu content centrally — including item names, descriptions, prices, photos, and availability on the delivery platforms. And pricing isn't set once and forgotten: it's tuned automatically to what's actually selling in your market, to bring you the most orders and a bigger share of the orders in your area. Central management also means every customer gets the same experience from a brand, wherever it's cooked.

What Bamboo manages

  • Menu item names and descriptions

  • Pricing on DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub

  • Menu photos and branding

  • Item modifiers and options

  • Menu structure and categories

  • Publishing and syncing menus across delivery platforms

  • Promotions and advertising — on the delivery platforms and beyond

What you can do yourself

  • Pause individual items when they are temporarily unavailable - directly in the Bamboo app.

  • Resume paused items when they become available again.

  • Pause or resume an entire brand per delivery platform, from the Providers section — see Pausing items & brands.

  • Update your business hours directly in the app.

How to request a menu change

If you need a permanent menu change - an item removed, an ingredient substituted, or another update - contact our team:

  • Email [email protected] with your location name, the brand in question, and a clear description of the change you need

  • Or use the support chat and our team will log the request

Our team will review the request and make the change in the system. You will be notified when the update is live. Menu changes on the delivery platforms can take up to 24-48 hours to fully propagate across DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub after they are updated in our system.

Why don't I have access to edit menus directly?

Bamboo's brands run across many kitchens, and every location needs to deliver the same brand, the same quality, and the same experience. Managing menus centrally is how we protect that standard — for the brand, and for every partner who cooks it.
