How Bamboo pay works

How Bamboo pay works

Bamboo earns a commission on your orders — we only make money when you do. The more your kitchen sells, the more we both make.

What you're paid

Every week, Bamboo's commission is calculated on what customers paid for the food on your completed orders, before tax and delivery fees. Bamboo totals what the delivery platforms paid out for your completed orders and deposits that — minus Bamboo's commission — straight to your bank account. And if getting you an order ever costs more than it earns you, Bamboo's commission fee is waived.

What does the commission cover?

Bamboo's commission pays for: access to Bamboo's own brands — proprietary menus shaped by what's actually selling in your market; the ads and promotions we run for you — tuned automatically to get you the most orders and the most order share; your storefronts on the delivery platforms, plus direct ordering through each brand's own website; your tablet and printer, provided free; weekly dispute of error charges on your behalf, with refunds passed through to you; 24/7 support by chat, text, and email; and your weekly direct-deposit pay. There's nothing else on top of it — no onboarding, hardware, or software fees.

No cap on what you earn

Because it's a straight commission on your orders, there's no ceiling — the more you fulfill, the more you take home.

What you cover

You're responsible for your own ingredients and packaging — Bamboo covers the rest.

When do I get paid?

Every week, by direct deposit.

Do I pay Bamboo anything?

No — there are no fees, and no deductions beyond your commission fee.

Can the commission change?

If it ever does, you'll always be notified in advance.
